Pink Girls Nursery

Blow It vs Budget

Beauty & Style for All

Mel Webber takes us on a tour of her daughter’s bedroom

and shows us how to recreate the look with opposing budgets

This is Georgia’s room, she has just turned two and whilst she may have the smallest room in the house it gets the most stunning light. I searched high and low for the perfect blush pink colour, and finally found it in Edward Bulmer’s Natural Paint range which is made from entirely natural ingredients, and with no nasty chemicals or plastics it’s perfect for a nursery (read more here). The colour is Cuisse de Nymphe Emue and I love that it’s not too pink and girly. I then chose a wallpaper with a metallic gold finish to bounce the light around the room and accessorised with ivory, blush pink and gold accessories.

And there you have it one pink nursery ready for a little baby girl to grow into a little girl, there won’t be any expensive updates for at least 5 years, unless of course she truly hates pink.  Fingers crossed for mum that doesn’t happen.

This gorgeous look can be achieved for £989 or £2,044 and of course the great part is, if you can save on a few items then you might be able to splash out on a luxury piece that can either become part of the family home or it can be re-sold, this is the biggest bonus when investing in furniture.
